This NYTimes article convinced me to start a 5:2 Diet experiment for the next month. I already played around with skipping lunch last year, and it did help maintain my weight.

If you subscribe to the principle that weight is a function of calorie inputs minus calorie output, thereโ€™s really no magic to any of these. You just need to find the setup that works best.

Next month will be tough since Iโ€™ll be traveling for vacation and work. But better now than later.
