On the Amazon Pebble
I think Pebble could be a worthwhile member of the Amazon ecosystem:
Alexa everywhere: With the Amazon phone out of the game for a while, an Alexa interface you carry on your wrist is a good second-best to the smartphone. It’s also a more even playing field against Siri and Google Now — compared to stuck inside an App.
E-ink screens: Amazon already has the most beautiful E-ink screens on the market — there has to be some economies of scale in R&D and production on it.
Dash button: As simple as the physical thingy, but you carry it all the time.
Needless to say my Pebble Time experiment is going really well. Really hope they survive a few more device iterations.
